I haven't been to Big Jerk since I moved out of Vegas, but when I lived there, this was always a top contender for some Jamaican food and still is. I was just there last weekend, and it did not disappoint. Most importantly, my first timers with me enjoyed it, too, so that was a plus. I'd definitely recommend it. Yes, the food is spicy but I like spicy so it's perfect for me.

We went to dinner at their soft opening around 7pm on a Sunday night in November. It was pretty slow, only a few other customers while we were there. I let our server, Sherry, know that I am unable to have gluten/have celiac disease at the beginning of our experience and she was extremely helpful in checking with the kitchen to give us options. Our service was pretty great, a little slow at the beginning, but we had regular check ins from Sherry and people would often come by and grab plates we were finished with and such. For our meal, we shared the jerk chicken without the jerk butter (to make it gluten free), the sweet mashed potatoes, cabbage, plantains, and rice and peas. I wish there were some more gluten free options, however, the options we did have were really great. The chicken was fantastic, juicy on the inside, charred on the outside, great flavor. The rice and peas were really good, I've never had and I thought they would be plainer than they were. The sweet potato mash was good, very sweet, which is a nice offset of the more savory foods. And the cabbage was probably our favorite side, we ordered two extra sides of it - it's very flavorful, the texture of the cabbage was perfect, soft with a little crunch. The plantains were amazing For drinks, we tried the panty rippa, rude boy, the jerk, and Caribbean sunrise. I think my favorites were the panty rippa and the caribbean sunrise - they're on the sweeter side which is my preference. However, I would recommend all four drinks. After dinner, we shared a hookah with the watermelon flavor. It takes about 15-20 minutes to prepare the coals, so make sure you order in advance. It lasts about an hour, which was perfect for what we were looking for. The flavor was pretty great, the smoke was full and not harsh. The music can be a little loud sometimes and the women's bathroom was a little dirty and missing TP and such in some stalls, but other than that, the atmosphere was pretty okay, very chill. There are several big TV's inside with sports, if you're into that kind of thing. There is also a patio outside that would probably be great in the warmer months (not November) Noting that they do charge gratuity on the check. Overall, would recommend

I had a fantastic experience with the food here—it’s the kind of place that leaves you satisfied and already thinking about your next visit. I ordered the lamb chops and the jerk chicken, and both were absolutely packed with flavor. The lamb chops were tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly, with just the right amount of char. The jerk chicken had that authentic kick, smoky and bold, but not overwhelming. Every bite was balanced and well-prepared. You can tell they take pride in their cooking here. The food isn’t just thrown together—it’s thoughtful, full of character, and truly comforting. It’s the kind of meal that hits the spot, especially when you’re craving something hearty and flavorful. The portions were generous, and everything was served hot and fresh. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, the quality holds up. The vibe was casual but friendly, and service was solid too. If you’re looking for a spot that consistently delivers on flavor—especially if you love Caribbean or grilled dishes—this place is it. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend the lamb and jerk chicken if you want a meal that satisfies start to finish!

Food was really good, atmosphere inside was cool vibes, love the music. The only thing I didn't like getting pat down to eat inside a restaurant at 2pm in afternoon. And to charge gratuity for party of 3 is crazy..

Ladies were wonderful, friendly and fast service. Food was so flavorful, amazing deal and abundant portions. Music had me singing along, eating until my stomach hurt, washing it down with the most amazing ginger pineapple soda. I can't say enough. Will be back to try more food and the hookah. If you are trying to find an amazing unique vibe and great food, you found it!

Big Jerk is an overall great experience! The food is amazing and the staffs customer service is top tier!! The dinner hours are good for a more chill vibe but they also have a very lively night experience that includes the best hookah in Vegas, a full kitchen menu all night, live DJs, and they even offer bottle service! It’s a 10/10 atmosphere!
